I tried these spots on Monday at lunch. The first is up 1 at the airport. The other is across from Publix on the main road over the Intercoastal.
Lost Lagoon - I had the fish and chips for $14. One big piece. Perfectly fried. Probably swai. A tad mushy in parts. Proper fries. Typical plastic menu restaurant selection and prices. Looks cute. A bit lived in. White and lavender. Pottery Barn decorations. Beachy. Two rooms separated by a bar. Five booths and five tables in road side room. Patio in back. Ok service. Only two. About half full.
Mike's Pizza - Conveyor belt pizza. I passed on that for a $9 Italian sub. Ham, salami and provolone. Stale roll. Large. Not sticklers for cleanliness. No gloves. Cut veg right on steel counter. A few apps. Four subs. Phoning it in. Seems like two retirees. Said they were there for almost thirty years. No seats. Tiny parking lot. Open at 3pm. 11 on F/Sa. No Tuesday. Not one of the better options in town.
*No seaweed on the beach. None at St Augustine either. Great water temp.
